REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- Congressman Mo Brooks visited the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command's Redstone offices Jan. 31.

The newly-elected representative of the Alabama 5th Congressional District met with Brig. Gen. Christopher Tucker, USASAC commander, and Robert Moore, USASAC deputy to the commander, to get an overview of the command.

During the visit the group discussed the command's unique mission, USASAC's BRAC move, and how the command and the community can support each other.

USASAC implements approved U.S. Army security assistance programs, including Foreign Military Sales of defense articles and services to eligible foreign governments. The command manages approximately 4,400 FMS cases valued at more than $103 billion. USASAC also manages the Army's co-production program.
