West Point celebrates Acceptance Day

More than 1,300 Plebes joined the Corps of Cadets on the Plain Aug. 14 during the Acceptance Day Parade.The West Point Class of 2014 marched onto the field and joined their academic companies in front of hundreds of Family members, friends and the West Point community. After settling into the barracks and gathering class supplies, the cadets are now adjusting to the classroom environment during their first academic semester at West Point.

The traditional pass in review was performed by the Corps of Cadets during the Acceptance Day Parade on Aug. 14, and event which officially accepts the Class of 2014 as members of the Corps of Cadets.
