Standing in the security provided by closeness to a familiar adult, a young Iraqi child in the village of Sa'ad, in Basrah Province, is surrounded by the throng of children and adults lining up to receive gifts and school supplies passed out by the Iraqi Army's 52nd Brigade, 14th Division, Feb. 11, 2010. The 52nd Bde. conducted a joint goodwill patrol with the U.S. Army's 5214 Military Transition Team to foster a closer relationship with the local people.
