BASTOGNE, Belgium - Re-enactors from Belgium and the Netherlands drove fully restored American World War II vehicles into the city of Bastogne, Belgium, to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge Dec. 12-13, 2009. Participants also donned official vintage uniforms and played a role in many of the ceremonies across town.

Henry "Hank" Skowronski is surrounded by Band of Brothers re-enactors at the site of a new monument that was dedicated Dec. 13, 2009, to Skowronski's unit, the 326th Medical Company. Skowronski was stationed in Sainte Ode, Belgium, on Dec. 19, 1944, when his unit came under attack by the Germans. He was captured as a prisoner of war until the end of the war.
