Team CECOM,

Last week, I traveled to Ft. Eisenhower, Ft. Stewart, and Ft. Liberty to support ongoing Army efforts. I spoke at the Signal/Cyber Pre-Command Course and toured the NETMOD facility at Eisenhower, where we discussed our command's Force Modernization Division and fleet maintenance capabilities. We also visited the Augusta Regional Hub Node and Topham IT Training Facilities. We then traveled to Ft. Stewart to meet with our team and the Army's 3rd Infantry Division leadership to get after an important MEDLOG in Campaigning Review, helping integrate MEDLOG into the Army Sustainment Enterprise. At Ft. Liberty, our team had a chance to support our AMC and AMLC partners during a FORSCOM Rehearsal of Concept drill and visit with our teammates. It was gratifying to undertake so much in a week while meeting even more of this fantastic worldwide workforce!

On the operational front, our TYAD teammates continue providing fundamental sustainment support to our European partner nations. Last week, our TYAD radio integration team completed installations in 17 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Additionally, our TYAD radar repair team is set to travel to the Army's Remote Diagnostics Center - Ukraine in Poland to provide support to the mobile radar systems and EW tools found on today’s modernized and dynamic battlefields, as well as to provide essential maintenance training to partner nation personnel. Our Army is transforming land power in Europe and Africa, enabling joint force readiness, and I'm proud that CECOM plays such a vital role in these ongoing modernization efforts.

More on the command's real-world impact, our CECOM Safety team is preparing to provide Critical Design Review support for USNORTHCOM's new Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV). The USNORTHCOM ERV is a communications-enabling asset designed to support U.S. Homeland Defense and Defense Support of Civil Authorities disaster relief or recovery missions. Our Safety team will provide this proactive security and sustainability support during next month's design review.

The Army and CECOM are recognizing National Disability Employment Awareness Month throughout October, celebrating the many contributions of America's workers with disabilities. We at CECOM remain committed to recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining qualified people with disabilities to capitalize on the capabilities of a diverse and inclusive team that provides vital C5ISR-M support to our nation's warfighters. You can learn more in the following news article: CECOM - National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

This is a reminder that our next CECOM Town Hall is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 31 October, at 1000EST, in APG's Myer Auditorium. It will also be live-streamed for our worldwide team to watch, so please use the following MS Teams link to join the town hall if you cannot attend in person: 10/31 CECOM Town Hall. I'm excited to bring our entire Team CECOM together to discuss my 100 Day Assessment, AUSA, safety tips for the upcoming winter season, recognize some of our amazing teammates, and give Ms. Liz Miranda an opportunity to say goodbye to the entire team.

To all our teammates, thank you for everything you do. I greatly appreciate your continued dedication to the Army's mission, our warfighters, and our Nation.

This We'll Defend!
