An installation-level emergency response exercise is scheduled to take place on Fort Knox Sept. 19 and 20. People on the installation may notice increased activity involving law enforcement, the fire department, as well as other Fort Knox organizations and emergency support vehicles - especially around Fort Knox Middle High School. Please do not be alarmed. However, do not hesitate to contact the military police desk at (502) 624-2111 if you have concerns, or dial 911 if you believe a legitimate emergency exists. Everyone's patience and understanding is appreciated as this essential training is carried out.
