8th TSC's Commanding General Maj. Gen Charles R. Hamilton and Command Sgt. Maj. Maurice V. Chaplin hosted this month's LGBT Pride month Observance at Bongo Hall, Fort Shafter Flats with guest speaker Maj. Gen. Tammy Smith, HQDA Deputy G1. Smith along with two other panelists, Cpt. Jennie Olsen, 8th TSC and Sgt. Damien Fraser, 25th ID discussed the evolution of acceptance within the military ranks. Pride Month commemorates members of the LGBT community who are part of the legacy of our nation and Army.
