American Soldiers from 1st Battalion 17th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team along with Soldiers from the 1st Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, train together on entering and clearing a building during Exercise Rising Thunder 18 at the Yakima Training Center, WA, Sept. 1, 2018.
This exercise allows both forces to learn each others' capabilities and work as a unified team building partnership and readiness.
