AMC recognizes employees for positive impact on mission goals

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- Ten Army Materiel Command employees from across the organization were recognized as AMC Employees of the Quarter for the first quarter of fiscal year 2018.

Army Materiel Command Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Allan Elliott announced the recognition Feb. 26.

The AMC Employees of the Quarter are:

Tawana I. Townsend; HQ, Army Materiel Command

Alexis L. Bribriesco; Army Contracting Command

Beth A. Ward; Aviation and Missile Command

Denise Klose; Army Sustainment Command

Marshe D. Holmes; Communications-Electronics Command

Ron D. Dusenberry; Joint Munitions Command

Nicole R. Fox; Research, Development and Engineering Command

Tracey Smith; Tank-automotive and Armaments Command

John D. Ruffling; Security Assistance Command

Carlos Estrada; Chemical Materials Activity

The AMC Employee of the Quarter program recognizes civilian and military personnel whose outstanding and innovative contributions made a direct positive impact on mission goals during the quarter. In addition to recognizing outstanding performance of work, some of the key program objectives acknowledged by this award include progressing a culture of achievement and productivity, contributing to a positive work environment, increasing retention, and improving employee engagement impacting overall morale.

A placard honoring each selectee is displayed in the north hallway at AMC Headquarters at Redstone Arsenal.
