CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, TIKRIT, Iraq - A local Sharqat resident pulls out his personal information to be verified by 4th Iraqi Army soldiers, assisted by Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. More than 50 Sons of Iraq from the Ash Sharqat region came to the Joint Security Station Mar. 2 to register in the program, which will transition from U.S. to Iraqi management and funding May 1.
