Safety officers from Hangar 44, Flight Test, and around the Depot attended a special presentation in the NASCC Wings Auditorium, on October 21, that included briefs from the CCAD Employee Assistance Program and Aviation Safety Officer, and the NASCC Fire Protection.
Col. Allan H. Lanceta reminded employees that everyone is a safety officer and that every accident is preventable.
"You impact our warfighter every day," the CCAD commander said. "You are all here for National security and you are doing great things, but we can do things even better."
With three months at the helm, Col. Lanceta is making priorities clear at every level: CCAD is committed to fostering a work environment that prioritizes safety because it makes sense (it can save money, improve productivity, and increase employee morale) and it is the right thing to do.
