Strategic Mission Command develops, integrates, fields and supports the Army's core mission command collaborative environment and maneuver applications to enable operating force commanders to make timely and effective decisions within the Army and joint/coalition environments.

CAPABILITIES

Global Command and Control System-Army is the Army's strategic and theater command and control system. It fulfills the need for critical automated C2 to enhance the Soldier's capabilities throughout the spectrum of conflict during joint and combined operations.

Army Coalition Interoperability Solution is an interface/gateway/common language definition that facilitates the automatic exchange/translation of the common operating picture digital information between C2 systems of two or more nations, leveraging current Multilateral Interoperability Programme standards.

Common Software is a suite of 13 individual products that, when combined, provide the binding agent for interoperability between the Army's C4ISR systems.

The Command Post of the Future is a decision support system, providing situational awareness and collaborative tools for tactical decision making, planning, rehearsal, and execution management from corps to company level.

WAVE is a commercial-off-the shelf Voice Over Internet Protocol that provides interoperable voice support to CPOF.

Command Web is an extensible web framework environment that houses C2 lightweight web applications called "widgets" to facilitate the fusion of operations information and engineer capabilities to provide a more complete situational awareness picture and engineer staff capabilities.

Battle Command Common Services and Tactical Server Infrastructure provide a powerful and capable server suite for virtualizing mission command focused applications while ensuring commonality to the command post hardware infrastructure.

Command Post Integrated Infrastructure is the physical integration of supporting mission command solutions, network connectivity, tactical facilities and vehicles to replace selected elements of the legacy command post. CPI2 will enhance the survivability, agility, scalability and mobility for corps, division, brigade main/tactical command posts, and battalion command posts, allowing the commander to tailor the command post as missions dictate.

Tactical Defensive (Cyber Operations) Infrastructure is the Army's next generation defensive cyberspace capability at the tactical level. TDI provides hardware and software infrastructure that will host the Defensive Cyber Operations tool suite and analytics at the battalion, brigade, division and corps echelons. The TDI is one of 11 Remote Desktop Protocols under development to provide an overall Army DCO capability.
