FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. -- University of Arizona cadets begin to move out after reviewing a mine-resistant ambush protected vehicle on March 27, as part of field training exercise here. Observing the cadets are Col. Ray Compton (center right), commander of the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground (USAEPG), who provided the MRAP and Lt. Col. Dale Barnett (right) the senior instructor for the Univ. of Arizona Army ROTC Professor of Military Science. The MRAP display was part of an officer development program session that Compton provided before the cadets departed for the ruck march. USAEPG is the Army designated developmental tester for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
