It's a smooth ride into Fort Hunter Liggett, California, thanks to a different kind of 'Road Warrior', Army Strong engineers of 727th Engineer Detachment, 479th Engineer Battalion, 411th Engineer Brigade, 412th Theater Engineer Command.
Spc. Mark O'Rear tells us how the 727th, based in Penn Yan, N.Y., and one of only six asphalt units in the U.S. Army Reserve, made it all possible.
Video highlights the unit's contribution in an on-going effort to remodel Fort Hunter Liggett into a premiere training facility on the west coast.
Includes soundbites from Staff Sgt. Michael Marshall (Watkins Glen, NY), Spc. Kira Foss (Honeoye Falls, NY), and Pfc. Jonathan Gause (Rochester, NY). Produced by Spc. Mark O'Rear, 326th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment (Reading, PA).
