YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea -- The U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan workforce gathered for a Town Hall hosted by Debra D. Zedalis, region director of U.S. Army's Installation Management Pacific, August 1.
Zedalis explained that although USAG Yongsan was made up of many different directorates and sections, the garrison had one ultimate goal.
"We take care of Soldiers, Civilians, and Families and that is why we exist," Zedalis said. "We give them quality service and when people come on to our installations, when they come through the gate, it should be 'ah, I'm home.'"
Zedalis emphasized the importance of their jobs and asked the leaders to always put the mission first, and to take pride of what they did for the Community.
"We should always ask ourselves, 'Is it the services that we should be providing?'" she said. "Is it to the standards and by what regulations? What are you getting resources to provide? This is not just for USAG Yongsan, but across the Pacific region."
Zedalis, who was also accompanied by Command Sgt. Maj. Karl E. Schmitt, command sergeant major for IMCOM-Pacific, concluded the town hall with a question and answer session.
