WASHINGTON (March 29, 2012) -- The Joint Service Drill Team Exhibition, one of the Cherry Blossom Festival's most popular events, will perform Saturday, April 14, at noon. Walk amongst the cherry trees along the Tidal Basin down to the Jefferson Memorial, at 900 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC, where this event takes place directly following the Cherry Blossom parade. This is a rare opportunity to see the Army, Marine, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard drill teams perform in the same place at the same time. Each drill team will perform a 25 minute routine complete with daring, dangerous and exhilarating maneuvers which will be judged by this year's Festival panel. After the exhibition you will have the chance to meet with members of the drill teams and collect autographs. Make sure to arrive early to get the best views! To get there via Metro exit at the Smithsonian station on the Blue/Orange lines.
