Many offices and facilities across Tower Barracks, Rose Barracks and Hohenfels will be closed or operating with reduced staffing Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 due to the USAG Bavaria Organizational Day.

The following services will be closed:

Directorate of Public Works front-door services

  • Housing
  • Self Help Stores
  • Environmental Division (limited staffing)

Directorate of Military Programs for TB, RB & HTA

  • Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)
  • Civilian Misconduct
  • Military Personnel Division (MPD), to include the Transition Center and Transition Assistance Program (TAP) – virtual TAP classes will still be conducted
  • Postal Service Centers
  • Workforce Development

Directorate of Emergency Services

  • Police Administration
  • Vehicle Registration

Directorate of Integrated Technology

  • All DIT offices

Garrison Safety Office

  • Tower Barracks/Rose Barracks and Hohenfels Safety Offices will be closed from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • The Garmisch Safety Office will be open 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security

Family and MWR

  • All Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs at Tower Barracks/Rose Barracks/Netzaberg
  • CYS Youth Sports and Fitness Office
  • Family Child Care Office
  • School Liaison Office
  • Physical Fitness Center - Tower Barracks (open 24/7 access)
  • Jesse Williams Fitness Center Rose Barracks (open 24/7 access)
  • Memorial Fitness Center Rose Barracks (open 24/7 access)
  • Bowling Center Rose Barracks opens at 5 p.m.
  • Camp Algier Rec Center open from 4-9 p.m.
  • VAT Office at Tower Barracks

Army Community Service

  • The ACS Center B 322 (Vilseck), ACS Satellite B244 (Grafenwoehr) and the ACS Satellite B 10A (Hohenfels) will be closed. The ACS Satellite B 203 (Garmisch) will be open.
  • There will be no Information and Referral (I&R) Services or Lending Closet Operations at the facilities that are closed.

The following ACS services will still be available:

  • New Parent Support Program (NPSP) B 221 Vilseck, B 10A Hohenfels and Garmisch
  • Domestic Abuse Victim Advocacy (DAVA) Services via the Hotline - 0162-296-0661
  • Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) system navigation B 244 Grafenwoehr
  • Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) services are available in all communities via published numbers
  • Personal Financial Counseling (PFC) services available at Vilseck/Graf and Hohenfels
