XVIII Airborne Corps is supporting the North Carolina Dual Status Commander and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in ongoing relief efforts. U.S. Northern Command is overseeing the active-duty forces who are supporting the North Carolina Dual Status Commander. Soldiers from Fort Liberty and Fort Campbell are assisting with emergency route clearance, food and water distribution, and traffic control.
