TAMPA, Fla.,-Maj. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank, Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Commanding General joined the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Commander, Col. Brian Kadet, during Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) luncheon Feb. 14.

As the guest speaker, Eubank had the opportunity to tell the NETCOM story, and how this global command is influencing the U.S. Army's Unified Network objectives by leveraging its Zero Trust (ZT) capabilities to enable a more robust Command and Control (C2) within the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) environment.

NETCOM has done a zero trust gap analysis of the enterprise unclassified network. So the command absolutely knows how things align and where there are some gaps. In addition, NETCOM will soon be doing a further gap analysis of the tactical and the classified environment to see if any kind of gaps still exist and identify the variety of initiatives and activities to make sure priorities and application of resources align correctly.

According to Eubank, NETCOM is a two-star operational command with global responsibility, engaging in competition, crisis, and conflict every day.
