NORMAN Okla. (Nov. 5, 2022.) — The University of Oklahoma celebrated the military during its Military Appreciation game against Baylor University Saturday Nov. 5.
The Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill supported the event with a halftime appearance by the 77th Army Band — the Pride of Fort Sill — who along with the Sooners band, played all services songs. The show culminated with the Army Song led by Bandmaster Warrant Officer Martin Johnston.
While the band wowed thousands inside the stadium, the 75th Field Artillery Regiment and the historic Fort Sill Field Artillery Half Section delighted and educated crowds outside with static displays.
