REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. (Nov. 15, 2017) -- Amber Robinson-Green is the lead acquisition analyst in the Business Management Office of the Weapons Development and Integration Directorate. As the lead, it is her responsibility to have expert knowledge in the planning, development, and execution of all contract actions processed in the directorate. This responsibility includes apprising customers of contract regulations, policies and procedures; tracking major acquisition milestones; and providing oversight of all actions to successfully accomplish mission objectives.

"My team and I take tremendous pride in working closely with our customers and with the Acquisition Center to ensure our Soldiers are getting the services and supplies needed to support their readiness," said Robinson-Green. "As a Research & Development organization, it is inevitable that requirements will change which can create a challenging environment. No matter the challenge, our goal is to provide direct support to our customers to promote Warfighter readiness."

"I am proud to be part of an organization comprised of an intelligent, diverse workforce with a focus to anticipate future Army requirements and provide innovative solutions to the Warfighter. As a Warfighter-focused workforce, WDI is breaking boundaries to ensure our military is better and stronger. While I play a small role in accomplishing the mission, it is hugely rewarding to be a part of something so significant."

Robinson-Green earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2009 and a Master's degree in Management/Acquisition and Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2012. Robinson-Green has received a Level III Certification in Contracting and a Level II Certification in Program Management from the Defense Acquisition University.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

"Any weekend with family and Alabama football is a great one (Roll Tide)! In addition, I am an active member of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church and often partake in opportunities to give back to the community."
