HONOLULU, Hawaii (Feb. 9, 2017) - Leaders from Tripler Army Medical Center, also known as TAMC, attend the globally recognized Arbinger training this week. This workshop, "Developing and Implementing an Outward Mindset", trains participants on the benefits of an outward mindset approach which creates an organizational culture that engages its people. The five-day Arbinger workshop further progresses TAMC toward becoming a High Reliability Organization, a commitment across the Military Health System to apply standards for patient safety and quality of care. The course will also enable TAMC, the Warrior Transition Battalion, U.S. Army Health Clinic - Schofield Barracks, and the Naval Special Warefare Group 3 to develop leaders in their own organizations by using the exclusive Arbinger leadership methods. These methods enhance leadership skills by helping people apply new behaviors in the work setting while understanding how the mindset drives behavior.
