PARWAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan - Leaders and advisers from Train, Advise, Assist Command - East met with Afghan police leaders from Kapisa, Panjshir and Parwan provinces during a security shura at Bagram Air Field, May 5.
The leaders and advisers discussed a variety of issues at the shura including gender affairs initiatives, equipment requirements, regional security, logistics and resupply operations, and contracting. These meetings reaffirm partnership and generate the discussions necessary for Afghan security forces to improve their capabilities and capacity to provide security for the Afghan people.
