The Bagram Canals Project was designed to clean, rebuild, and harden 37km of canals within the Bagram District to enhance flood control, improve water quality, and supply water to more than 25 villages.
In addition to providing 25 villages with a uninterrupted water source, this project also included a 5 meter bridge that increased access to the local health clinic.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Bagram District Govenor Qadusi, Parliamentarian Najib Shrish, local leader Farid Shafaq, as well as Maliks and leaders from villages around the area.
