From Mississippi to the Pacific Theater -- Approximately 70 Army Reserve Soldiers with 412th Theater Engineer Command deployed to Korea, Hawaii and Japan to support Eighth Army and US Army Pacific training mission requirements as part of this year's Key Resolve training exercise. The majority of the group are part of the Deployable Command Post, an element of the 412th TEC expected to conduct mission command of subordinate engineer units in Korea and the Pacific Theater. The annual training exercise provides an opportunity for the DCP to continuously improve operational experience in the Korean Theater of Operation, while providing 8th Army, ARFOR-Korea, ARFOR-Japan and USARPAC with operational and technical engineering and logistical expertise.
