Maj. Gen. M. Ted Wong, Commanding General, Northern Regional Medical Command, and Chief, U.S. Army Dental Corps, visited McDonald Army Health Center, Jan. 30, on a site visit from his headquarters at Fort Belvoir, Va.

Upon arriving at Fort Eustis, Col. Glenda J. Lock, MCAHC Commander, welcomed the general on a tour of the health center. During the tour, she introdu...ced the general to the department heads and senior staff in several of her clinics, including Family Health, Same Day Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Main Pharmacy.

She then took the two-star general to the Warrior Transition Unit campus where he engaged in direct dialogue with Soldiers in transition during a town hall meeting.

Major Gen. Wong, who is board certified in prosthodontics, wrapped up his visit with a brief stop at the Fort Eustis Dental Headquarters.

"It was a pleasure to have Maj. Gen. Wong come and visit the Warrior Transition Unit," said Capt. Erika D.S. Wall, commander, Warrior Transition Unit.
