Biggest Loser Challenge
Fort Sill's Biggest Loser Challenge is under way, but anyone who is interested in losing weight and wants to shed some pounds in the challenge can still go to Rinehart Fitness Center today and tomorrow to get their weight and body mass index recorded.
Those who are wanting help in losing weight or just want a great workout can participate in the Biggest Loser Bootcamp Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. at Rinehart. The high-interval circuit training class is led by Claudia Mejia, Rinehart Fitness Center manager and Garrison fitness coordinator.
"I always look at the crowd in front of me and then I adjust the class so nobody leaves frustrated and thinks that they cannot do it," said Mejia.
She said there will also be a "workout of the week" posted on the Fort Sill Family an Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fitness Facebook page so people can workout at their convenience.
There will also be healthy eating advice on the page as well as any class cancellations. Mejia advised those coming to class to check the page before heading to a fitness class.
The Biggest Loser Challenge checkups will happen in conjunction with Fort Sill's Operation Be Fit events.

Latin and hip-hop dance 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Rockstar abs 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Zumba 10:30-11:30 a.m.
T, TH fitness classes
Biggest loser bootcamp 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Kickzumbuns 10:45-11:45 a.m., kickboxing and ploymetrics and dance.
Yoga 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Goldner Fitness Center.
Step and Kick (beginners class) 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Basketball clinic Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rinehart.
