HOW'S MY DRIVING?
Recently, Recruiting Command has seen an increase in the number of vehicle misuse reports from concerned citizens alleging that our Government Owned Vehicles (GOVs) are being operated unsafely or improperly. These complaints site reckless driving, excessive speeding, GOVs parked at residences, and operators talking on cellular telephones while driving -- to name a few. In an effort to reduce GOV misuse, bumper stickers displaying the question "How's my driving? Call 1-866-860-7661," will be distributed to the field to be placed on all GOVs. This measure is intended to help identify and reduce high-risk driving behaviors, help operators become better and safer drivers, and reduce accidents and traffic violations.
SUBMIT QUESTIONS FOR CG NOW FOR JANUARY FACEBOOK TOWN HALL MEETING
Since taking command last June, USAREC Commanding General Maj. Gen. Allen Batschelet has traveled to brigades, battalions, companies and recruiting centers to meet with recruiting personnel and their
families. On those visits, he usually makes the opportunity to hear from them and find out what's on their minds, now he'd like to do the same on Facebook. The CG will hold his first Facebook town hall meeting on 24 January. If you would like to participate, it is strongly encouraged that you to post a question sometime before Jan. 21 or "like" someone else's question. This will be a good opportunity to exchange views. The CG will answer as many questions as possible during the hour.
