The Honorable Heidi Shyu, Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology is welcomed to Letterkenny Army Depot by depot commander, Col. Victor S. Hagan. Thursday, Oct. 18 was her first site visit to LEAD.
Force Provider supervisor, Gene Kane, briefs Honorable Shyu on the depot's Force Provider program. During her visit, she was able to visit many of the industrial facilities to get a first-hand perspective of the depot's vast array of capabilities.
Honorable Shyu spends a working lunch with employees from various directorates across the depot. She took time asking questions and learning what they each do on a daily basis.
