GRAFENWOEHR, Germany -- Col. Lee Rudacille, Joint Multinational Training Command commander (left) and JMTC's Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis Zavodsky lay a wreath in front of the JMTC Headquarters Building, Sept. 9, in a ceremony honoring those who lost their lives in the attacks on September 11, 2001.

"They were members of our community -- family and friends," said Rudacille. "They are gone, but will never be forgotten."

More than 100 Soldiers from the U.S. Army and German Bundeswehr, along with dignitaries, veterans and community members gathered on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took the lives of more than 3,000 people.
