HONOLULU - United States Army Pacific Warrior Challenge 2011 Non Commissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year was announced June 10, during the USARPAC Army Birthday Commemoration held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu.

USARPAC's 2011 NCO of the the Year, Staff Sgt. Adam Connolly from the 25 Iinfantry Division, Schofied Barracks, Hawaii.

USARPAC'S Soldier of the Year, Sgt. Christopher Side from the 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Okinawa, Japan was the Soldier of the Year.

Warrior Challenge is a U.S. Army Pacific competition designed to find the best Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier in the Pacific. Over the five-day competition, Soldiers are tested on their Army knowledge, physical and mental stamina. At the end of the competition, points are tallied and the highest scoring NCO and Soldier are chosen as NCO and Soldier of the Year.
