Padel and his fellow LARs at FOB Sharana are members of the Brigade Logistics Support Team deployed with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Div. (Air Assault). Operating under the aegis of Army Sustainment Command's 401st Army Field Support Brigade, the BLST is the leading element of the Materiel Enterprise, bringing logistics experience and expertise to bear on the battlefield.
