Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment Katherine Hammack (seated, right) is briefed by Fort McCoy staff and leadership Aug. 5 as part of a one-day visit to the Wisconsin installation. The briefing provided an overview of Fort McCoy's mission, strategic objectives, capabilities, interaction/command relationships, strategic-planning process, energy and environmental initiatives as well as future challenges. This was Hammack's first visit to Fort McCoy.
