Benjamin P. Riley, the principal deputy in the office of the assistant secretary of defense, research, and engineering, is shown a sensing and effects node by engineer, Eric Barker, during a future-capabilities demonstration June 10 at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J.
The node is part of the Autonomous Non-Lethal Alert technology developed at the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center. The node was developed at the Networked Munitions Branch, Maneuver Support Division, which is part of the Munitions Engineering and Technology Center.
