Legal NCO retires

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- A U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command senior noncommissioned officer is beginning a new chapter in his life.

Sgt. 1st Class William E. Rounds Jr., senior paralegal, retired from active duty in a ceremony at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters May 21.

During the ceremony Rounds received the Meritorious Service Medal, an American Flag, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

Rounds retires with 21 years of active duty service.
