SMDC's top engineer retires

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's top engineer begins next chapter.

Col. Jeffrey S. Ogden, SMDC's deputy chief of staff, engineer, retired during a ceremony at the Von Braun III auditorium March 7.

During the ceremony Ogden received the Legion of Merit, the Noble Patron of Saint award, an American flag, certificate of appreciation, three star note from SMDC's commanding general, an Army Engineer Assocation "Essayons" award, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

Ogden retires with 30 years of service.
