The partnership's goal is to build capacity of both forces and ensure maximum readiness for contingency operations while building a relationship between the two aviation brigades.

"It is our turn to visit them," said Chief Warrant Officer Charles "Chip" Wallace, G4 plans and operations officer for UATF. "They came in February for the SMEE and now we are going there to visit them."

"We are going over to learn from each other's challenges and lessons while conducting aviation maintenance operations in challenging environments and also to build the relationship between USARAK and the Nepali Army," said Wallace.

The three-day engagement will tentatively include meetings and demonstrations on maintenance procedures, capabilities and challenges each Army faces.

While there, the team will discuss future SMEEs and how these exchanges can benefit both aviation units while continuing to strengthen bonds between the two Armies.
