• CAMP JACKSON, South Korea " Twelve Soldiers from 210th Fires Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division graduated from the Eighth Army Wightman Noncommissioned Officer Academy Warrior Leaders Course Nov. 15, 2013, at Camp Jackson, South Korea. The training focused on improving proficiency and enhancing their leadership development as they strive to become future leaders. Six of the 12 Soldiers, from 210th Fires Brigade, who attend the course made the Commandant's List. The Commandant's List is a leadership award that is earned by finishing with a grade point average that ranked in the top 10 percent of the class.  "Behind every great Soldier stands a great NCO," said Col. Michael Lawson, commander of 210th Fires Brigade. 

The following Soldiers made the Commandant's List:

Spc. Ren A. Alexius, who is assigned to B Battery, 6th Battalion 37 Field Artillery Regiment
Spc. Elijah J. Clay, who is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery
Sgt. Alexander J. McHenry, who is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery
Cpl. Eric S. Ortega, who is assigned to 579th Signal Company, 70th Brigade Support Battion
Cpl. Sohn Hyun-sik, who is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery
Spc. Tiffany Dobson, who is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery
