PETERSBURG, Va. (Sept 21) -- Maj. Gen. Larry D. Wyche, Combined Arms Support Command and Fort Lee commanding general, prepares to toss a CASCOM coin to start the Virginia State University football game Saturday. More than 1,800 Soldiers packed the stands to cheer on the Trojans in their 41-0 victory over the Kentucky State Thorobreds as part of Military Appreciation Day at Rogers Stadium. Dr. Keith T. Miller, VSU president, hosted Fort Lee service members for this annual event dedicated to honoring active-duty military members and veterans for their service and commitment to the nation.
