Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal discusses the future of the Army with Soldiers stationed at Camp Humphreys, 17 Jan. 2013, Republic of South Korea (ROK). Westphal met with the Soldiers to recognize their contributions to the longstanding ROK-U.S. Alliance, and discuss their critical role as the Army rebalances to the Asia Pacific region. Westphal visited Camp Humphreys during his Pacific AOR tour of Army units in Hawaii, Korea and Alaska. Under Secretary Westphal's visit to Korea underscores the strength of the ROK-U.S. Alliance and the U.S. Army's commitment to sustain land power in the Asia Pacific region.
