The “Mighty” 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas, held its first Workers Choice Award ceremony on May 27. The award was designed by 407th AFSB Commander Col. Danny Tilzey, to give the workforce an opportunity to vote for team members who have gone above and beyond to support the unit's mission. Employees made their choices by secret ballot during the brigade’s Memorial Day luncheon.
Cash awards were presented to the first and second-place Department of the Army civilian winners, and leave passes were granted to the military winners. The winners are: from left, Qui Gentry (civilian- first place), Dan Huber (civilian- second place), and Spc. Brian Stewart (military-first place). Lt. Col. Jon Hawkins and Sgt. First Class Mary Mitchell (not pictured) tied for military-second place. The 407th AFSB is an element of Army Sustainment Command’s global generating force, linking logistics power to operating forces.
