The U.S. Army Military District of Washington (USAMDW) will conduct its biannual Company Commander and First Sergeant Pre-Command Course (CCFSPCC) April 25-29, 2022, at National Defense University on Fort Lesley J. McNair, to prepare company-level command teams for the unique challenges of company command in the National Capital Region.
"CCFSPCC is an AR (Army Regulation) 350-1 mandatory requirement with the objective of the course being to ensure that company commanders and first sergeants have knowledge of both Army and local command programs, policies, procedures, and command team responsibilities. This is completed through a blend of distance learning and resident training taught in a 5 day (40 hour) course,” said Michael Egly, USAMDW Training Specialist.
USAMDW leverages headquarters and installation senior leaders to train, educate, and mentor company commanders and first sergeants in their individual roles and responsibilities to their units and Soldiers.
The interactive class environment includes discussions, case studies and small group exercises. Leaders will review programs, policies, procedures, and local benefits and services available to Soldiers and Army Families
Command teams who have been identified to take command, or recently taken command, can receive more information by contacting the USAMDW G37, Training Branch. The deadline for registration is March 31, 2022. The point of contact for CCFSPCC is Mr. Michael Egly, michael.c.egly.civ@army.mil.
