BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan--Master Sgt. Mozella M. Mason , AFSBn-Bagram, 401st Army Field Support Brigade support operations noncommissioned officer-in-charge was awarded an Army Commendation Medal by Lt. Col. Peter J. Koch, battalion commander, during a ceremony at battalion headquarters Sept. 24.
The Army Commendation Medal was awarded in recognition of Mason's work during her year-long deployment as the battalion support operations noncommissioned officer-in-charge. In that capacity, she assisted in numerous missions involving equipment maintenance and issue to supported units as well as turn-in of non-mission essential equipment for retrograde back to the United States.
Mason also received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the NATO Medal.
