If you love karaoke and having a good time, be sure to stop by the Patriot Club Backbone Lounge Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to midnight for TouchTunes karaoke.

The Backbone Lounge, downstairs in the Patriot Club, now boasts a TouchTunes digital jukebox and karaoke machine.

"We will be opening the Backbone Bar every Friday for karaoke including during all final Fridays," said Michael Borden, Business Operations chief and manager of the Patriot Club. "Each time someone hosts Final Friday, their brigade or unit will receive $20 credited to the machine as part of the package similar to the free food available for Final Friday."

TouchTunes karaoke offers the most advanced, connected entertainment experience for both the karaoke enthusiast and the casual user. It is fully licensed with a rich catalog featuring the most popular current karaoke hits and users can link to the myTouchTunes mobile app to manage their music preferences, from jukebox to play lists to karaoke songbooks.

Members can connect and share with others, all the while earning bonus credits, digital pins and other perks. "The myTouchTunes mobile app allows consumers to control the jukebox without leaving their seat," said Borden. A sleek, intuitive user interface makes it easy to search for music, pay for credits and play your favorite hits.

The charge for the karaoke machine and jukebox is $1 per song. When members check in and play music, TouchTune rewards them with bonus credits, status levels new virtual pins and other perks. The Impact Zone will also have a karaoke and jukebox machine within the next couple of weeks, said Borden.

The Backbone Bar is a full-service bar with a large selection of domestic and imported beers, both bottled and on-tap. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There are no cover charges other than songs selected and beverages are very reasonably priced. The bar does offer free bar snacks that include chips and pretzels.
