ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. --A facilities manager was named employee of the year by the U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, or CERDEC, here, June 19.

William Kimble was recognized in the administrative team category for his support to CERDEC's Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate Base Realignment and Closure Team. The team facilitated the directorate's relocation from Fort Monmouth, N.J. to Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The team was instrumental in the design of CERDEC labs and spearheaded the effort to get the labs functioning in a timely manner. Kimble provided power and HVAC requirement support to the team.
