BAGHDAD - The commanding general of Joint Contracting Command, United States Forces - Iraq, visited with the combined forces of the Coalition Naval and Advisory Training Team at Umm Qasr Sept. 7 to witness the latest progress at Iraq's southernmost port.

Brig. Gen. Camille M. Nichols toured Iraq Training and Advisory Mission-Navy's Umm Qasr operations and facilities and attended a briefing on new developments planned by former CNATT Director, Rear Adm. Scott Jones and current CNATT Director, Rear Adm. Kelvin N. Dixon.

The visit marked Nichols' first trip to Umm Qasr in her current posting with USF-I.

In September 2008, Nichols become the first commander of the U.S. Army Expeditionary Contracting Command, a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, and was appointed to her current command October 30, 2009.
