FORT MONMOUTH, N.J. -- Much like the technologies in everyday life, the capabilities used by and against this nation's Soldiers in the battlefield change at a rapid pace. The Army considers the evolution of capabilities for the continued protection of the U.S. Warfighter essential.

The community responsible for the Army's command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, also known as Team C4ISR, will gather in Baltimore Aug. 23 - 26 for the annual Team C4ISR Joint Symposium and Expo to discuss the full scope of activities associated with bringing C4ISR technologies to the Soldier and sustaining those technologies in the field.

Currently, the majority of Army Team C4ISR is located at Fort Monmouth, but will transition to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. by Sept. 2011 as part of the Base Realignment and Closure.
