COMMAND POST OSCAR, South Korea - Eighth Army Soldiers deployed here in preparation for Key Resolve/Foal Eagle March 1.
Army personnel participated in exercise Winter Freeze 2 prior to KR/FE, the first of two major exercises held annually.
During KR/FE, Army units will train to confront and defeat external threats to South Korea.
KR/FE is a routine exercise which takes place about the same time every year in the spirit of the ROK-U.S. Mutual Defense Treaty.
