Staff Sgt. Brian Chiles and Spec. Kenneth Killingbeck, food service specialists with 529th Regimental Support Company, 4th Battalion, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), prepare their 'Fantasia'-inspired sculptures for the largest culinary competition in the United States, the 35th Annual Army Culinary Arts Competition, at Fort Lee.

With over 100 hours of work put into their sculptures, Chiles and Killingbeck hope their hard work and dedication pays off next week.

"We're in this competition to showcase our culinary talents and skills against fellow peers despite lacking a big team to represent our unit," said Killingbeck.

The competition is endorsed by the American Culinary Federation and displays the talents of military chefs from around the globe in all branches of the armed forces. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 12.
