Brig. Gen. Allen J. Pepper, U.S. Army Security Assistance Command commanding general, delivered the keynote address for the North Alabama International Trade Association's Foreign Military Sales Industry Day summit at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala., Aug. 27, 2025. Pepper spoke of the critical role that collaboration between the government, industry, and international partners play in supporting the National Defense Strategy, and he provided updates regarding USASAC's part in continuing the transformation of the Army Security Assistance Enterprise in order to better strengthen cooperation with allies and partners as well as industry partners. Also representing USASAC were Cols. Steve Winkleman and Peter Sittenauer and Lt. Col. Wes Chaney who provided updates on their respective regional operations directorates.
